    As aventuras do seu boneco falante foram imortalizadas no clássico de animação dos estúdios Disney "Pinóquio" (1940). Esse romance também é utilizado como fonte de inspiração por Spielberg no filme "A.I. - Inteligência Artificial" (2001).
